July 2008 - Life is cruel!

Its now Thursday and how life sadly changes again in a space of a couple of days. Yesterday, MR lost her mum after a short illness to the dreaded "C" word. We had been told she had weeks/months to live but in a space of 24 hours, this changed dramtically. Sadly she passed away last night in our presence and MR is very distraught & heartbroken. To see MR this way, hurts me very much and all I can do is to be by her side, support, comfort and give all the love she needs. Her mum was a wonderful person and it was my priviledge & pleasure to know her for over 35 years. In the current circumstances, does it really matter what my personal thoughts are at the moment? Not really! :-(
